LINDSEY & JOEY

WHEN I LAID MY EYES ON YOU

CINEMATOGRAPHY: JACOB DURBIN & NATALIE EIROA

Lindsey and Joey met in college and it was love at first sight! Nothing else mattered when these two kind souls said "I Do" at The Carriage House in Lac La Belle, WI. The exceptional design & details made this luxury wedding one to remember for all their family and friends. At the end of the night, they shared their first dance under twinkling lights!

The chemistry and youthful spirit of Lindsey & Joey was contagious. They are so quick to greet each person with a smile and make them feel loved every chance they get. What stood out to us on their wedding day was the way they took the time to greet and talk to every single one of their guests. In a day so overwhelming, they didn’t care if schedules ran behind or if they had other things they needed to do, their priorities were always connecting with those around them and they both instilled so much joy into every person they came across. From family, to friends, to even vendors, they were so grateful to have everyone there and they were not going to have that go unnoticed.

The same love and energy they exuded outside their relationship was magnified between the two of them inside their relationship. Neither of them failed to put one another first and make them feel like absolute royalty, no matter the time or atmosphere! It really got us thinking, “man, there really couldn’t be a flaw they face with how much love and joy they express” but reality is, everyone experiences obstacles every once in a while. The difference here is the way you handle each situation and how you let your mentality define those obstacles. I’m sure not every day is rainbows and butterflies, not even for the sweetest souls, but both Lindsey and Joey take trials and morph them into love and growth and we can see how strong that has made them as a couple. They have learned to love each other when it is easy and when it is not and it is something we could all learn for ourselves. When you’re feeling defeated and you have to remind your significant other to do something for the seventh billion time, smile and choose to love them. Laugh about the situation and keep moving forward. Life is too short to waste your days worrying about things that won’t matter in the future and after all, you both deserve to be happy. Especially on the happiest day of your life.
