MACKENZIE + JOSH

CAN’T GET ENOUGH

CINEMATOGRAPHY: JACOB DURBIN & ETHAN O’ROURKE

Girl code 101: if your sister doesn’t approve then it’s a hard pass. Lucky for Mackenzie, it wasn’t hard to get the green light on Josh. While you should always stand firm and trust in your own decisions, it isn’t always a bad idea to listen to the people around you. In some cases, people like family or your best friend want the very best for you and will hold you to high standards in case puppy love blinds you from holding those standards for yourself. When your whole support system has nothing but good words to say about your partner despite life’s roller coaster ride, then you know you have found someone really special.

More important than the voices around you, what you say to your partner and vice versa is ultimately what matters most. Finding ways to reach out to your partner on your wedding day and letting them know how loved they are is a great way to stay connected on your wedding day. You don’t need to wait for the ceremony or reception to display love, you can easily do it with a handwritten note before you kick off the day. Bonus points if you gift your partner with a little something for them to let them know you are right there with them every second of the day.

We are joyous to see Mackenzie and Josh did just that! While getting ready in the morning for their special day, the two decided to write letters for one another to read before they got to meet face to face. Huge smiles and a few tears confirmed that it was sentimental and needed. Even if you aren’t good with words or you’re insecure about your penmanship, we promise your partner will love to hear from you! Type it out online if you need to or grab some cheesy quote from pinterest to help you express your feelings, we won’t judge.
